RQD Round Manual Balancing Damper

Alumavent Model RQD true-round manual balancing damper is suitable for use in low to medium velocity/pressure applications where manual balancing is required in round ductwork. The "Quick Click" quadrant handle provides fast positive locking of damper blade in any position. Casing is beaded, as well as externally reinforced on larger sizes, to ensure rigidity. Perimeter seals provide tight shut-off when closed.

Frame: 16 ga. galvanized steel (welded construction) with stiffening beads. External reinforcing on sizes 12" (305 mm) diameter and larger

Blades: 22 ga. galvanized steel

Axle: 3/8” square, steel

Blade Seal: Neoprene seal around perimeter of frame

Drive Shaft: 3/8" square, steel

Manual Quadrant: Composite "Quick Click" positive locking quadrant handle

Bearing: 3/8” square bushing press-fit into frame

Finish: Mill galvanized

Available sizes: 4" (102 mm) through 24" (610 mm) diameter ••
